casts to a real stone, slate, or even metallic finish, in any colour, without the environmental drawbacks of solvent-based resins.

What Is Eco Resin Casting?
Eco resin casting uses a water-based, non-toxic composite made from mineral powder and acrylic resin — as an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional polyester and polyurethane resins. It cures to a strong, lightweight finish that can convincingly replicate real stone, slate, bronze or any custom colour, while producing far lower emissions and toxicity during manufacture than solvent-based resins.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is it more eco-friendly?
The material we use is a water-based composite of mineral stone powder and acrylic resin, developed as a lower-toxicity alternative to solvent-based polyester and polyurethane resins. It's non-toxic to work with and produces significantly lower emissions during manufacture.
Can resin casting really look like real stone?
Yes, we can even use specific types of stone, such as Portland and Bath stone, to match historical references. With the right finishes, cast resin can very closely replicate the look and texture of carved natural stone at a fraction of the weight and cost.
Can you match a specific colour or finish?
Yes, colour and finish matching (including metallic, marbled and wood effects) is one of the most common requests we handle — send us a reference and we'll advise on the closest achievable match.
What sizes can you cast?
We produce everything from small detailed pieces to larger sculptural items. Contact us with your dimensions and we'll confirm feasibility.
What's your minimum order quantity?
This depends on the complexity and size of the piece — we're happy to accommodate small trade test runs. Get in touch to discuss your project.
How do I supply my design?
We can work from existing artwork, a 3D file, a drawing, or a physical reference piece — our in-house design team can develop a master from most starting points.
Can you help if I only have a rough concept, not a finished design?
Yes — much of our work starts as a brief or sketch, and our design team will help develop it into a production-ready master.
